The initiative of nursing education of Desun started its journey in the year 2011. Desun Nursing School and College is housed in a sprawling state of the art campus at Rajarhat , Kolkata; equipped with the latest learning infrastructure, furnished with the state-of-the-art labs and an exhaustive library.   2. College have to display the email address and contact number of the Nodal officer of Anti Ragging Committee of the college on the website and campus areas like Admission Centre, Departments, Library, Canteen, Hostel, and Common facilities etc.
  3. Display of list for Anti Ragging committee and Anti Ragging Squad on the Notice Boards.
  4. Display of the attached advisory at prominent places.
  5. Status of celebration of Anti Ragging Day : 12 August and Anti Ragging Week – 12 to 18th Aug. Status of uploading of videos on website or YouTube or other social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc and tag UGC official accounts on social media posts with UGC INDIA (@ugc_india) on Twitter and UGC India (@ugcindia) on Instagram. Events to include:
    1. Introduction / Orientation Programme
    2. Competitions (slogan & essay writing, poster making, and logo designing on Anti Ragging).
    3. Anti-Ragging workshops, seminars and other creative avenues
    4. Shown TVCs, short films and documentary movies to students and faculty.
    5. At the end of each academic year, the institution should send a letter to the parents/ guardians informing them about the Regulations and any law for the time being enforced prohibiting ragging and its punishments.

  6. Every public compliance for admission in your institution state that Ragging is totally prohibited in the institution and anyone found guilty of ragging is liable to be punished
  7. Publishing in the brochure of admission/instruction booklet the telephone numbers of the Anti-Ragging Helpline and all important functionaries of the institution
  8. Prominently display the Mobile phone number of the Warden/Assistant Warden in the hostel
